Beaches
Kelly's Beach: Includes a lagoon at the southern end and at the northern end the 'Basin', a man-made rock pool. Both provide a safe swimming environment for children.
Bargara Beach: Located at Nielson Park, it is surrounded by a sports complex, picnic tables and barbecues, a caravan park and The Surf Life Saving Club. Beach patrols are carried out by the local Surf Club during peak times.
Tourist Attraction
Bundaberg Rum Distillery: The Bundaberg District is the only place in Australia where all facets of sugarcane production occur, from the growing and harvesting to the milling, refining, distilling and research. Tours to view the Rum Distillery process are available. In recent years Spring Hill House, the original homestead from Spring Hill Plantation, was relocated in the grounds.
