Description

When the northerlies appear, the favourite spots to ride are Blacks Beach and Bucasia.

The kiting conditions in Mackay are awesome. Both flat water and wave sections with large flat beaches and blue water. Wind blows 15-20knots most year round with summer months being the strongest. Average kite size for Mackay is 12-14mtr.

Season:

March to September would be the safest months for kiteboarding due to Jellyfish in other months.
