Description
91km north of Townsville or 24km south of Ingham, via the Bruce Highway.
Fringed by rainforest, Waterview Creek tumbles down many picturesque cascades and rapids, offering beautiful spots to relax, camp, walk and enjoy watching birds, butterflies and other native wildlife. It is only 6km driving from the Bruce Highway and the walking track is beautiful, so do this short drive and enjoy swimming in the creek, there are no crocodile's.
Camping
The Jourama Falls campground is in a large clearing beside Waterview Creek. Advance bookings are advisable, especially during school holidays, when the campground is extremely popular.
Important
No fires are permitted in the park and penalties apply. Please use the gas barbecues provided, or use your own fuel or gas stove for cooking. Take some Bushman (mosquito repellent) with you!
