Description

The Big Rocking Horse at Gumeracha in South Australia is in fact the biggest rocking horse in the world, with acknowledgement from the Guinness Book of Records to prove it! The 18 metre structure has three observation levels - on the rocker bows, the saddle and the head - and those brave enough to climb all the way to the top will receive a certificate.

Gumeracha is a picturesque town in the Adelaide Hills, around an hour drive northwest of the state's capital city. The Big Rocking Horse is the centrepiece of the Toy Factory, which sells Australia's largest range of wooden toys direct to the public. The complex also has a 7-acre reserve with native animals including kangaroos, wallabies, emus and birds.
