Rockhampton YHA

we are a small hostel located just north of the river in rockhampton.  We have multi share, double, twin and ensuite rooms and offer a courtesy bus pickup from the train and greyhound station between the hours of 6.30am and 8pm.  Our recption hours are from 7am to 9pm though a late checkin can be arranged.  Rockhampton is  a great example of an aussie country town and also boasts itself as the beef capital of australia so it is definatly the place to pick up a great steak meal in one of the numerous restaurants in town.  It is also the gateway to the beutiful keppel islands and the outback experience of myella farmstay.  Also around town is a crocodile farm, caves and a free zoo and botanical garden which is renound throughout australia.
